Water-Gen Harvests Water from the Air

The Water-Gen machine uses a system of plastic “leaves” to harvest clean drinking water from the air. he system comes in three different sizes, with the largest able to harvest about 825 gallons per day in an environment with an 80-degree temperature and 60 percent humidity. A key feature of the system is its array of plastic “leaves” that cool the air and funnel the condensation through a filtration system and then into a reservoir.
The technology can easily be scaled, and the team believes the generated water will cost less than ten cents a gallon to produce, based on current energy prices.
