The Nerivio wearable provides migraine relief by stimulating the nerves in the arms. It is worn on the upper arm, where its pair of electrodes makes contact with the skin to deliver electrical pulses. These pulses travel through the nerves and up to the brain stem, where they trigger the activation of pain-killing neurotransmitters. It comprises of battery that can be charged. It can also be controlled wirelessly via a paired smartphone, allowing the user to adjust the intensity of the pulses.
