Startups can now raise money from ordinary investors

SEC now has allowed startup companies to raise money via ordinary investors. Earlier the JOBS act allowed raising money only via accredited investors – but with the latest change – people making less than $ 100 K per annum can invest upto 5% of their income in startups – while those making more than 100 K can invest upto 10K:
