Starter Kit for Internet of Things

To make embedded products and integrate them with the internet of things, IBM and ARM teamed up for a joint venture. They did similar ventures earlier too but this Starter Kit is powerful than other concepts of the past and can be integrated with IBM’s BlueMix Cloud Platform.

This new kit is known as IoT Starter Kit. It is built around Freescale k64F platform and uses the Cortex-M4 processor. It has an integrated floating point unit. The chip is regulated at a frequency of 120MHz with a RAM of 256KB.  This kit serves as a great support for embedded products. It supports onboard Ethernet too.
