Ever since I got a new gas stove, I noticed that just boiling 2 cups of water for Tea is taking me close to 10 minutes or more.
With old stoves, it used to be around 5 minutes.
I took pictures of the new vs old stoves and it is obvious why.
The new stoves have less dense flame and the gap between the flame and the cooking utensil much more than the old stove.
The designer of these new stoves has questionable ability and skills.
At this time, I am not mentioning the stove company names here.
Time efficiency is as important as fuel efficiency and needs to be standardized and boldly mentioned. Till that time, consumers will have to watch out for this on their own.
