Marshall’s Powerful Speaker makes Alexa Rocks

The Marshall Uxbridge Voice is a powerful Bluetooth speaker launched by Sweden’s Zound Industries. The industry which manufactures headphones and speakers under the Marshall brand has introduced the new speaker Uxbridge Voice which has Alexa built in and it also adds Airplay 2 support to the lineup.

Zound industries entered the technology market with in-ear and on-ear headphones. It had to make some changes while keeping the sound loud and clear. The company’s first generation Marshall earphone are still used widely and popularly. Different designs of Bluetooth speakers are introduced and Marshall’s guitar amplifiers look alike are best known. They even experimented by introducing mobile phones. Recently they have launched a solid 0 speaker which has Alexa within and supports Air-Play 2.

The high- frequency sound of Marshall mixed with the benefits of Amazon Alexa creates a smart and efficient speaker. Though the speaker is small yet it delivers a powerful, clean and precise audio experience. With the Alexa built- in you can go hands- free by just commanding what to do. Aside from controlling the speaker through the Alexa voice assistant, the speaker also supports Spotify Connect and regular Bluetooth connection.

Marshall’s amplifiers deserves an iconic position when it comes to the rock music. The Uxbridge’s Voice physical control consists some volume rockers and buttons to adjust the volume, bass, and treble according to your needs. It even consists of a play/ pause button and a button if you want to disable the Alexa- enabled microphone. You get the option of either controlling the playback through the guitar- inspired rocker buttons or you can use Alexa and go hands- free. The dual microphone features far- field technology so that the microphones can register your voice even if the speaker is beating loud music and you are on the other side of the room.

The Zound Industries says that the speaker has been “engineered to create a thunderous sound from it’s compact frame”. The 5 × 6.1 × 4.8-in (128 × 168 × 123-mm) speaker produces a thunderous sound as promised. The 30- W Class D amplifier produces a frequency response of 54 Hz – 20 kHz and 96 dB SPL.
