Helmets are a safety feature that people usually overlook because of style. But this mistake often leads to loss of life or some serious injuries. This led to the invention of the invisible bicycle helmet by Swedish women who integrated safety with style.
It uses technology similar to the airbag that vehicles use it. Holding device that can be worn around the neck, made up of nylon which is inflatable and acts as a protective gear for your head. It is the brainchild of Terese Alstin and Anna Haupt, who are behind this unique idea, of protecting oneself from injury and also retaining the style quotient. This device is much safer than traditional helmets. It reads your movements and in case of an accident, it will sense your movement and inflate the airbag in 0.1 seconds. As it is connected to Bluetooth, it will notify the ICE in case of emergency.
It all started from the year 2005 and after many years of grueling work, they came up with this piece of engineering which would cushion the impact of your head and neck. If it senses a collision then it will trigger the gas inflator which would, in turn, fill up the nylon airbag and thus reduce the impact of the collision.
But this safety device comes with a huge price. It is priced at approximately 500$, which surely burns a hole in your pocket and also the biggest disadvantage is that it could be used only once. So, if you are really worried about your safety without fretting about your looks then this helmet is the best buy.
