Hydra-Light PL-500 Runs on Salt Water

The Hydra-Light PL-500 lantern and USB device charger is powered by salt water, eliminating the need for batteries. Adding salt water to the system will trigger a reaction, causing the PowerRod to oxidize and create an electric current.
