Hachi Infinite M1: The Portable Smart Touchscreen Projector
Throwback November 2018, a portable smart projector called the puppy cube was taken for a spin, which offered touchscreen interaction.
Going forward with the legacy of brilliant innovation, the company behind that image thrower has now announced the global release of a brighter, more powerful ultra-short-throw projector dubbed the Hachi Infinite M1.
Similar to the earlier version, the puppy cube, when the M1 stands upright it projects a 23-inch image down onto a desktop, floor, or another flat horizontal surface. The sensors wait for a user’s hands or fingers to enter the display area. It works identical to a tablet in this mode, where one can tap projected icons to open apps or play games.
When the M1 is laid flat on its back and is pushed against the wall or even the screen, to enable the touch display to work, the user can interact with presentations thrown into the wall, in the board room.
The double whammy comes when you are seamlessly shifting from office to home, from professional pursuits to leisurely escapades, from corporate presentations to your favorite movies!
The 720p projection system can throw up to a whopping 100 inches, although it’s a better option to hold onto 40 8nches, for the sharpness, basis the resolution (as we found with the puppy cube). Autofocus and auto keystone correction are available though manual focus adjustment is possible via the included remote. The normal version features 500 ANSI lumens while the PRO version offers an upgraded and superior 600 ANSI lumens center brightness.
Power-packed with a monstrous 5,000-mAh battery, dual 5-W speakers has Snapdragon 670 processor brains and runs Android 9.0 with a custom user interface, this is amazing dynamite. The Pro has incredible storage of 128 GB in solid-state and comes with 6 GB of RAM and an included GPS positioning system. The standard M1 gets 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.
Last, but not the least, the smart projector has a built-in 8-megapixel camera and bi-directional speaker, and hence also serves as a wall-filling video conferencing solution.
